Young Parents Learn About Jobs in the Mobile County Merit System

Mobile County Personnel Board hosted a recruiting event on March 21st for the first graduating class of Future Leaders Working Academy, a workforce development program for young parents between the ages of 18 to 30 years old. Executive Director Tiffany Harris-James attended the session with her graduates and assisted her class with helpful insights and questions. MCPB Personnel Analyst Shannon Williams presented topics that included creating an application account, exploring job opportunities, scheduling a typing test, and applying for jobs. Applications Department Supervisor Pam Brown assisted these job seekers with navigating our website and online forms.
